FOUR ON THE FLOOR-THE FRANK BROTHERS

The Guitar Knobsblog

What are your four ‘must-have’ pedals? That is what we ask our guests to share with you in our Four On the Floor podcast segment.

The Frank Brothers make one of the most recognizable guitars on the market. They also share a lot between them, like pedals! If you are not familiar with Frank Brothers Guitars do yourself a favor and check them out. They gave us a fantastic interview too! You can hear the episode for yourself right here. Check out these choices for their Four On The Floor.

1. Union Tube And Transistor – More Overdrive

“It’s a really high-quality lush overdrive. It is an absolute must-have. its one of those pedals you always leave on. My brother Tim used to have the old DOD that was pretty rad but this just blew it out of the water. Everything just sounds really good with it.”

2. Stomp Under Foot – Rams head Fuzz

“My Older brother John just picked this up. I have never been one for fuzz and was skeptical to try it out but I think I’m going to have to get this one on permanent loan from him it is a great warm sounding fuzz. Pedals are supposed to be fun and this is a lot of fun. “

3. BOSS -DD-3 Delay

“Just a touch of slap-back never does you wrong. This has been kicking around our mom’s house for about 15 years and gets passed around between us. Nothing wrong with a little touch of delay right!?”

4. JHS – Mini A/B Switch

“We have been dying to have something like this at the shop as a way to test two different guitars at the same time. You can do it with amps too, which is super helpful because we have a selection of amps at the shop for when people want to swing by and try our guitars with different amps. We also like to provide “tasting notes” for our guitars, which is our read on the tone each guitar has, like what a particular spruce top might sound like. This will make it really easy to identify those.”
