FOUR ON THE FLOOR-LOUIS SCUTTI OF SCERO GUITARS

The Guitar Knobsblog

What are your four ‘must-have’ pedals? That is what we ask our guests to share with you in our Four On the Floor podcast segment. Many of Louis’ guitar designs are influenced by the classics, just like his pedal choices. If you are not familiar with Scero Guitars do yourself a favor and check them out. He gave us a fantastic interview too! You can hear the episode for yourself right here. Check out these choices for his Four On The Floor.

1. Source Audio – True Spring Reverb

“This thing is great and honestly, probably still has more knobs and depth in control than I need, but it’s probably one of the closest sounding to a true spring reverb tank I’ve ever heard. I’ve fallen in love with it. It’s even cool with the fact that you can, you hook it up to your phone with a one eighth Jack cable and you can use the app to upload new sounds and customize settings.

2. MXR – Carbon Copy Deluxe Delay

“This is one of my favorites. I’m not a digital guy really but this is an analog-style pedal. It’s so simple and it has tap tempo so just whenever I’m playing with a drummer, you know, I can make that happen.”

3. Klon – KTR Overdrive

“This is gonna sound super cliché but I really do like Klon pedals. I don’t like a lot of drive in front of my amps typically.”

4. Bondi Effects – Sick As Overdrive

I know that that is kind of in the Klon element, but I would say it does its own thing—it is beautiful. It goes from a beautiful clean boost to plenty of gain, more than I would ever need. Actually, I would probably choose this before the Klon.
